Introduction

Milkshake Slicer App is a tool to prepare and convert your 3d models to print files.

There are 2 file formats you may come across in the app:
.mks    Slicer app scene files. Contain all models and supports data.
.opf     Printable file, to be uploaded to printer

Interfaces

Import

Support File Format : .obj/ .stl/ .slc
Import Unit : as mm / inches

Transform

Move
Use Shortcut + and – to scale the gizmo

Scale
on Percentage

Rotate
Rotate 90 or Free Rotation.

For large flat surface, tilt up to print for 
better quality

Fit Size
Unit in mm

Print in hollow to save materials

Pattern:

Add Support

Calculate and Display Support Points
*Calculation base on Face Down Angle (Blue Area)

Generate Supports

Area Support Points

From Points to Supports

You may simply use Auto Mode to generate supports or edit it manually for Advanced Users.

Tips

Must “Auto Generate Points” before using 2D features

For bases/terrains/flat surface,
add edge support per 3mm.
